Hello Turanligil,

Well this class has been created against the MDM Zinc API 2.5, so if you are using the 3.0 the function to get the date might return the date formated differently. I would think that they provide some options to format the date now... I will check tomorrow (12.30AM here) and let you know.

Have a good day.

i saw this example... in the example for ftp is used the code on bottom. The Problem is, that yourFileArray[i][1] returns "Aug 26 16:41" and not "dd/mm/yyyy" like in your example :) i don't now WHY i have this format :( bummer... i thought maybe you remember :) thanks anyway...
for (var i:Number = 0; i<yourFileArray.length; i++) {yourFileArray[i][1] = DateManager.ftpDate(yourFileArray[i][1]);}

It's been so long, I can't remember but I know that the link in the comments links to an example. Also this class is used in a FTP manager class (which I've done also, available probably on the blog or on mdm forum under zeflasher).
Sorry I can't be more help.

HOW do you get the format dd/mm/yyyy in your d String? i get crazy :) is it possible that this is a zinc 3.0 Bug at the getFileDateTime??? please help

Free roam Pirate game set roughly around the Pirates of the Carribean era (no ties to the film just the time frame). Free roam around the Carribean with a ship and a crew. Real time ship to ship battles. Generaly around the ideas the makers of "Pirates of the Carribean: Armada of the Damned" before the idiots decided to cancel it. Would have sold so much and been a great game. Need a good company to make a game like it, preferably Bioware and ect.

Hello Colin,

Nice to see you here.

Thx for the link I will check it out.
Do you know how it compares to the existing ones on the market.
Anyways it great news as I will need one for a mobile app I'm currently developing, and wanted to review the existing ones, see if I go with one already made or start one from scratch (specific to my needs)

I'll publish the results in here probably.
Thx again for the link...
Cheers.

fyi, oregano is no longer under development (see link above). the last release was 2004, and it only supports ActionScript 1 and 2.

as a modern free alternative, you might want to consider union platform, which has as3 and javascript/html 5 client libraries, and supports server-side javascript and java extension.

http://www.unionplatform.com/

(full disclosure: i'm a co-founder of union...)

happy coding!

Well, the patch was pretty much rectifying the classes to be strict compiling compliant.
The zip is the classes already patch.
so what you need to do is simply replace those classes in the flash install folder or point to those classes when compiling ( instead of the MM (wow, so old :) ) ones )
